
Policies & Waivers
To ensure the best experience for all pets and clients, please review our policies below. These guidelines help us maintain a safe, efficient, and pleasant environment for your furry family members.
1. Scheduling Policies
Booking Requirements
Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Same-day or under 24-hour appointments incur a $15 fee.
Cancellations & No-Shows
We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. No-shows or late cancellations more than 2-3 times may be charged 50-100% of the service fee in order to return.
Late Arrivals
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late need to give notice! We will accommodate tardiness but need to plan accordingly.
2. Pick-Up & Drop-Off Policy
Drop-Off Window
Clients should arrive within 10 minutes of their appointment time.
Pick-Up Time
Dogs must be picked up within an hour of notification. Late pickups may incur a fee of $15 for daycare and will cover their stay until 7pm.
3. Health & Behavior Requirements
Vaccination Policy
Proof of rabies vaccination is required before grooming. For boarding, the other vaccines Bordetella and DHPP are required.
Flea & Tick Policy
Dogs must be flea-free. If fleas are found, a flea bath will be given at an extra charge ($15–$25). This is not optional.
Aggressive/Difficult Dogs
Aggression must be disclosed. Extra handling fees may apply, or the groom may be stopped for safety.
Senior & Special Needs Dogs
A release must be signed or we may decline service if the dog's health poses a risk. This may also incur a special handling fee.
4. Grooming Outcomes
Matting Policy
Matted coats may require shaving. De-matting can be painful and may cause irritation. Matting fees vary depending on the severity ($10-$50) dependent on the dog's size.
Injury/Reaction Disclaimer
Please acknowledge the rare possibility of minor cuts, stress, or skin reactions and sign our liability waiver.
Style Disclaimer
Final style may vary depending on coat condition and behavior. No refunds for style preferences not met due to matting or health issues.
5. Payment & Refunds
Payment Due at Pickup
We accept cash and digital payments (Zelle, ApplePay, Venmo, etc.).
Touch-ups
Minor touch-ups offered within 48 hours if needed.
6. Photos & Social Media
Photo Consent
We photograph/video any and all dogs for promotional use unless the owner declines verbally before appointment.
Service Agreement & Liability Waiver
By booking an appointment with Groomed by Dani, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the policies outlined above. Additionally, you acknowledge the following:
I understand that grooming can expose pre-existing health or skin conditions and that certain procedures may cause stress in some pets. I authorize Groomed by Dani to obtain emergency veterinary treatment for my pet if necessary, and I agree to pay all associated costs.
I release Groomed by Dani from all liability for any injury, escape, death, or unforeseen accidents that may occur while my pet is in their care. I understand that while all care will be taken to ensure my pet's safety, some risks are inherent to the grooming process.
I agree to pay for all services rendered at the time of pick-up. I understand that if my pet is left for more than 24 hours after the scheduled pick-up time without contact, my pet may be considered abandoned and appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with local laws.
